2015 will be remembered for ever. Nepal was hit by two big and by more than 60 smaller shocks during the last month. People were in shock by those devastating events. About 390.000 habitants from Kathmandu left the Kathmandu Valley to other districts to take care for their family and look for safety. On the other hand about 250.000 came from out of the valley and found themselves a shelter by family or in open air. Schools were closed for 5 weeks. People had to sleep in open air for weeks.
International help was very needed. The Nepali people themselves were very courageous and helping eachother, building shelters, bringing food to them who were in need.
Now live is slowly coming back to ‘normal’. Schools and shops re-opend. There will be a lot of buildings to be restored or to be rebuild again. Nepali are great survivors and their creativity and courage is admirable. ‘Nepal will rise again!’
